Owner of Anita Machine & Tool Inc., Lester Williams, moved to Greater Lafayette in 1987 where he first started as a maintenance worker at one of Lafayette's largest manufacturing warehouses, where he began his career and passion for precision machinery. His persistence, hard work, dedication, mathematical skills, and phenomenal problem solving skills, quickly led him to the supervisor position. Over the next decade he mastered his leadership role, with the display of great patience, persistence, principal, and character. In November of 1998 Lester and his wife Anita decided to start their own business in hopes of building a better future for their five children. With teamwork & dedication they built their business into one of the most highly respected machine shops in the Greater Lafayette area by serving their customers with only the most precise machinery around. Lester has spent the last 30 years perfecting Anita Machine & Tool's craft, by working with engineering students, engineers, large auto manufactures, production manufactures, local small businesses, trade businesses and other organizations that have an ongoing need for specialty made metal, ceramic, alloy, and steel pieces to accomplish their goals, projects, and ideas.
What We Do!
Anita Machine & Tool, Inc has continued to provide specialty-machined products for over 20 years. These products include small production, prototypes, and repairs to manufacturing machinery parts, printmaking, assemblies, metal forming, heat-treating, large assemblies, welding services and more. Through the utilization of equipment such as Manual and CNC Lathes and Mills, Laser Cutter, Water Jet, Wire EDM, Welders, and skilled machinist and laborers. Anita Machine & Tool Inc. is able to produce, to customer specifications, any type of specialized metal, ceramic, steel, or alloy product.
